About Dr. James Boyer
I chose to pursue primary care medicine because it allows me to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with patients. I strive to connect with my patients in order to best provide evidence-based but also individualized care.
My clinical interests include caring for adult patients with chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and COPD to name a few. I always emphasize preventive care.
My personal interests include spending time with family and friends. Enjoying the outdoors: camping, fishing, bird watching, and winter skiing. Following Colts Football.

I went to the doctor for an annual checkup which was covered by my insurance. Thinking I was being responsible about my health, I told the doctor that the reason I finally got a checkup after years and years with no visit was because my friend passed away from a heart attack and that my chest has been feeling weird lately so I just wanted to do a simple checkup and make sure my vitals were good. Little did i know that bit of information cost me an extra couple hundred because he charged me for a whole medical visit when it was not anything more than a physical and a voluntary ekg screening that was a separate charge which I knew and was fine with…. So i strongly advise going to Dr. Boyer and if you do, don’t be honest with him or else he will milk you for every penny like he did to me. Crazy world that you can’t be upfront with your doctor . All we are are dollar signs to these people…
