As a leader in women’s health, Dr. Gohar has dedicated his career to delivering personalized, ethical and outstanding quality of care. After taking ownership of the women’s health medical center, Forest Hills Medical Services, in 2013, and establishing specialty women’s outpatient surgery practice, Viva Eve, in 2016, he saw the potential to build one consolidated practice that could cater to all women’s health needs. In 2021, he launched Viva Eve – a health destination offering integrated specialty care for women—from ObGyn services to fertility and fibroid treatments—under one warm and welcoming roof. Through Viva Eve, his mission is to redefine women’s healthcare to empower patients as active participants in their own personal healthcare journey. Dr. Gohar is driven to expand Viva Eve’s offerings, which center on top-tier patient experience and state-of-the-art medical techniques, to thousands of women residents throughout New York. He still practices as a physician at Viva Eve, and his number one priority continues to be his patients. He also serves as a Clinical Instructor at Weill Cornell School of Medicine and an Attending ObGyn at Mount Sinai West and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Gohar received his medical degree from the historical Cairo University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the Medical College of Georgia. In 2013, I took over my mother’s practice with the aim of continuing her patient-centric approach to obstetrics and gynecology. Under my leadership, the office was completely renovated to modernize the space, incorporate new technology, and make it as welcoming and comfortable for patients as possible.
