About Dr. James Pehoushek
Dr. James F. Pehoushek, M.D., M.P.H., is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA, followed by specialty training in Dermatology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda National Naval Medical Center. Dr. Pehoushek is a California native who received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Occidental College and his Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Pehoushek served as a physician in the U.S. Army for 11 years before joining All Dermatology. During his military career, he was stationed at Fort Huachuca, AZ, where he served as Chief of Aviation Medicine. Following his dermatology residency, he was assigned to Fort Sill, OK, where he was Chief of Dermatology and also served as Chief of Specialty Care. He left the military in 2004 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Dr. Pehoushek is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the Maricopa County Medical Society, the Phoenix Dermatology Society, and the Arizona Medical Association. He is on staff at Arrowhead Community Hospital. Dr. Pehoushek has published numerous articles in dermatologic literature and has given many presentations, as well as television and newspaper interviews related to his expertise in dermatology. His medical interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has also received additional specialty training in cosmetic and laser procedures.
