The best part was a meeting an incredible practitioner. He listened to my concerns, provided clear and easy to understand information and explained why he did what he did. This is rare. I felt safe, secure and comfortable enough to ask additional questions. He will be my gynecologist going forward. Very good experience.

“Dr. Rowland was fantastic! He first met me where I was, asking what I knew about IUDs, their side effects, and the overall procedure. After hearing that I wanted [...] IUD, he offered his professional medical opinion based on my input and preferences and instead suggested [...], IUD. I couldn't have been more pleased! He listened to any and every question I had and was validating and not at all dismissive for questions that I deemed trivial. His professionalism and competence are unrivaled. I couldn't have been luckier to have had the IUD insertion performed by a more qualified provider. It went by so swiftly, and I had no complications even 5 minutes after. Now that it's been one week, I can truly say that the procedure was seamless. Dr. Rowland and team were amazing. [...] Dr. Rowland made this the best medical visit ever. I'm so glad I chose AHN over UPMC!”

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Rowland. He is the epitome of what every OB-GYN should be. Truly amazing and compassionate and understanding of his patients and their concerns. He always ensures that my questions are answered/addressed and is always professional as well as polite and friendly. Excellent bed side manner.
