About Dr. James Sullivan

Dr. James Sullivan grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and attended Bergin Catholic High School. He graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He received his Doctorate Degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated as president of his class. Dr. Sullivan did his post-graduate training in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry and at the University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. He was the chief resident in his third year. He assumed the practice of Dr. John Crisanti in 1996. Dr. Sullivan is the Director of the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. Dr. Sullivan is Board-Certified in Foot Surgery and in Rearfoot Reconstructive Ankle Surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He was also declared the Best Podiatrist in Monmouth and Ocean Counties by the Asbury Park Press in 2007 and 2008. Dr. Sullivan resides in Monmouth County with his wife and six children.
