“After checking in online on their web portal and Zocdoc, as well as in-person on the tablet, I sat in the waiting room for an hour before receiving a message from the office telling me I was late and threatening a no-show fee. I talked to the front desk and they fixed it for me, but it took another hour of waiting before I was finally seen by the doctor.
Otherwise, Dr Janice has always been nice, her prescription and referrals were useful, and she was quick to follow up with phone calls when necessary.”

I visited for my annual checkup which was a breeze. The office sends you a reminder a week before your visit so you don't have to fill out forms (beyond the initial visit). The patient rooms are clean and organized, the nurses really kind and don't rush you.

I went for a simple physical and it turned into 3 additional follow up appointments with different departments connected to this provider’s office, and calls every day to try to schedule me for things I did not need, like a dermatology appointment that I said I didn’t need because I had been to my Derm in the last few months. I also was made to come back for additional blood draws and then received multiple calls without voicemails after from the blood draw group, who was trying to make sure I had been back, but I had already returned to have the blood redrawn prior to those calls. Because of all this, it left me with the feeling that the office was trying to schedule me for follow up appointments because of their connection to the other departments, not because of need. It also just showed disorganization when I’d like my medical care to be organized and efficient.

I was a new patient seeing Dr. Cristobal for the first time, for a physical. The office was bustling and there were at least half a dozen other patients in the waiting room when I arrived, so I was a little worried about wait time to be seen, but was called back in under 10 minutes. The tech who did my intake was friendly and thorough. Dr. Cristobal was lovely! She had a great, friendly energy while also thoroughly explaining the scope of the physical as well as all of the standard blood tests the office would run. I didn't feel rushed at all, and she was open to answering any questions, though I did not have many. I appreciated that I was also able to have bloodwork done right on site, without having to go to a Quest office or something else.

Office environment was calm and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional, along with Dr. Cristobal. Everyone communicated clearly and made the visit smooth, easing any nervousness I had as a new patient. Definitely recommend.

Quick and easy digital check-in, and super friendly nurse assistance. Dr. Cristobal was super sweet and insightful. She helped me understand every test and took the time to explain in more detail any instance of confusion for me. She also recommended tests and provided experienced referrals personally for any follow-ups. Wait times between each test and consultation were expected, but I wasn't too bothered by it. Also, Medical Offices of Manhattan is a one-stop shop for all of my medical needs, and so easy to work with.
