About Dr. Janice Tan
Dr. Janice Tan is an optometrist. She grew up in Brooklyn and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed her clinical training at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Maryland, Brooklyn VA Hospital, and Broward Eye Care in Florida.
Dr. Tan provides comprehensive eye care and has a special interest in myopia control and dry eye management. She is a great communicator with patients and cares for her patients above and beyond.

They were perfectly nice, but did not seem particularly educated on vision. Opt was confused when I told her my glasses were for keeping my muscles strong not just for my vision itself. And seemed to not believe me when I told her it was becoming more difficult to focus my vision (something I’ve struggled with my whole life and is a source of migraines) Also not a word was said about my astigmatism which has always been discussed with new optometrist bc it limits my ability to wear contacts and drive at night. She did Show me the Retina images which were really cool. Over all it was fine for someone with low needs, which I consider myself. But if you have anything more than a single focus lenses need I’d go somewhere else.

Visit was outstanding. Dr. Tan speaks both English and Chinese fluently. Exam was fast and efficient. Out the door in 15 minutes with no wait. Would recommend my friends.
