Dr. Jannah Bacchus was born and raised in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where from a young age she was interested in pursuing a career in medicine, inspired by her father, who was a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. She attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended Barry University in Miami, Florida, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Bacchus went on to graduate as Chief Resident from a three-year Podiatric Surgery Residency program at Stony Brook University Hospital and Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Long Island, New York. She is credentialed in Forefoot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. Her training has involved all aspects of podiatry, including foot and ankle trauma, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, inpatient care, outpatient care, and pediatrics. Dr. Bacchus is married with three children and resides in the greater Chicago area. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and is an outdoor enthusiast.
