He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS). His practice incorporates the medical and surgical treatment of all aspects of children’s eye care needs, including refractive errors, amblyopia, strabismus, uveitis, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, retinopathy of prematurity, tear duct obstructions, and cataracts. He maintains his interest in adult comprehensive ophthalmology, but specializes in the treatment of adults with double vision and strabismus. Dr. Duncan completed a highly competitive, two-year fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Duke Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island, New York. In his final year, he served as Chief Resident. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and his undergraduate degree from Colgate University. Dr. Duncan has a wife of thirteen years who is originally from Massachusetts. He has three children, Wyatt (11), Gwendolyn (8), and Penelope (4). He is an avid runner, hiker, basketball player, and reader of history and other non-fiction. He looks forward to continuing the excellent tradition of pediatric eye care at Lexington Eye Associates.
