About Dr. Jared Wolfe
Dr. Jared Wolfe is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wolfe completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University while accepting a commission as an officer in the UnitedStates Army. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University as part of the Army’s Health Professions Scholarship Program and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.
Following residency, Dr. Wolfe served as an Army orthopaedic surgeon at A.T. Augusta Medical Center in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He was appointed Deputy Chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and recognized as an Associate Master Clinician. He deployed to the Middle East as part of the 811th Hospital Center during his military service.
After completing his military commitment, Dr. Wolfe pursued a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic. He has expertise in partial knee replacements, anterior total hip replacements, and complex and revision joint surgeries. He is passionate about incorporating science and technology to optimize outcomes and believes that truly knowing patients as individuals is essential to providing exceptional care.
Dr. Wolfe is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has authored multiple research publications and presented at national academic meetings.
Outside of his medical career, Dr. Wolfe enjoys time with his wife, whom he met during medical school, and their three children. He also enjoys traveling, running, reading, and exploring local restaurants and activities.
