Getting to know Dr. Jason Jian
Dr. Jian has three office locations in Marietta, Chamblee, and Cartersville, offering both in-person and virtual visits at each site: (1) 72 Plaza Way, Marietta, GA 30060; (2) 5008 Buford Highway #A, Chamblee, GA 30341; and (3) 3950 Cobb Parkway # 707, Acworth, GA 30101.
He accepts Aetna, BCBS-Illinois, BCBS-Federal Program, Cigna, Optum United Behavioral Health, Humana, and Wellcare. In-person and virtual appointments are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while only virtual visits are offered on Tuesday and Thursday. Patients with other insurances such as Ambetter, Peach State Health Plan, Amerigroup, etc., are currently treated as self-pay and can book through Zocdoc.
Dr. Jian has extensive experience treating adult patients with Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADD/ADHD), opioid dependence, alcohol and cocaine misuse disorders, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and many more. He has special expertise in complex cases, including non-adherence to medications and comorbid medical conditions such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, thyroid disorder, and diabetes. This expertise stems from his prior training and practice as an internist for five years and a cardiologist for ten years before switching to psychiatry 13 years ago.
Dr. Jian earned his Bachelor of Medicine from West China College of Medicine, Sichuan University. He completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Sichuan University, West China Hospital, a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Reproductive Biology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and a Residency in Psychiatry at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
He is married and has a 20-year-old son named Jimmy, who hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. His wife, Yi, is a computer programmer working for a financial institution called Quick Rate. Dr. Jian enjoys playing tennis, bicycling, and swimming.
