“I have been going to Chelsea Eye for over 20 years and have been seeing Dr. Yoon over the last five. The staff handled this visit very efficiently making sure that all testing was done prior to seeing the Doctor. This was my annual visit and Dr. Yoon went over test results and discussed changes. Chelsea Eye has always provided the best and thorough eye exams. I would not go anywhere else.”

About Dr. Jay Yoon
Dr. Jay Yoon is a contact lens specialist who has been practicing in New York City for 17 years. She has expertise in difficult fittings, including RGP and keratoconus, and performs comprehensive eye exams covering emergency conditions and glaucoma, with a strong emphasis on Dry Eye Disease management as well as pre- and post-LASIK and cataract surgery care. In addition to being certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy, she provides myopia control care and fits and manages aftercare for Amniotic Membrane. She also partners with FX scleral lens artists for the film and theater industry.
Dr. Yoon has built a well-respected practice focused on long-term vision and eye health, supported by a strong network of referral specialists.
She earned her Bachelor's degree from New York University in 2004 and her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2009. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Yoon is an active member of the NYSOA Membership Committee and serves as a mentor for students at New York University and SUNY Optometry.
