About Dr. Jeffery Horacek
Dr. Horacek is originally from Nebraska and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1986. As a therapeutic optometrist, he practiced in the Plano/Richardson area until 1995. For the next 14 years, Dr. Horacek owned Alpha Optical in Frisco and was very active in the Frisco community through his church and Rotary Club. Before joining Dr. Hollingsworth at the new Sherman location, he most recently practiced with Dr. Gary Thomas in the Sherman/Paris area. Dr. Horacek has lived in Blue Ridge for over 20 years and has a young son. He also loves the outdoors and has a passion for studying theology and teaching the Bible at his church in Frisco.
