About Dr. Jeffrey Bourguignon

Dr. Jeff Bourguignon, the resident doctor of Tampa Sports & Wellness Chiropractic, is a board-certified chiropractic physician. He specializes in treating athletes and active individuals that have developed injuries through competition and everyday activities. While focusing on the true origin of a patient's problem, Dr. Jeff provides an all-encompassing approach to body mechanics and the function, rather than only treating the symptomatic issues. Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Jeff attended Gaither High School where he was the captain of the soccer team. While playing soccer, he was heavily influenced by the team’s chiropractic physician. He knew he was able to exceed athletically with the help of chiropractic care and with the physical and nutritional knowledge that his team physician provided. Dr. Jeff continued to see benefits of chiropractic care as he went through college. He played soccer at The University of Tampa, winning a national championship title in 2001. In 2005, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology (pre-med). He then graduated from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. During his time at National University, Dr. Jeff studied under Dr. Solecki, the team chiropractic physician for Northwestern University and Benedictine University. Utilizing functional rehabilitation and specialized manual therapy techniques, Dr. Jeff treated college athletes from every sport that experienced a wide range of injuries.
