Dr. Jeffrey Munro was born and raised in New Jersey where he attended Rutgers College to study physics and mathematics before going to medical school at University of Medicine and Dentistry. He continued his training in New Jersey, including a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in general cardiology, and subsequently moved to Arizona to complete his fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Mayo Clinic. He has practiced cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology in Minnesota and Arizona since 2016. Dr. Munro is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiac Electrophysiology. His areas of expertise in cardiology include catheter ablation, atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, pacemakers and implantable defibrillators (ICD’s). When not in the office, Dr. Munro enjoys hiking, camping, mountaineering, cycling and spending time with his family.
