Dr. Jennifer Kasey is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Owner, and Director of Redirection Counseling Services, LLC, which is an innovative woman-led virtual private practice specializing in psychotherapy, career development, and transformative workshops for high-performing professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, emerging leaders, young adults, and talented and gifted adolescents. Dr. Kasey is licensed in TN and VA and has 20 years of experience in providing affirming and results driven care. Dr. Kasey also holds the APA PsyPact credential (APIT) that enables her to provide telehealth in over 39 states. Dr. Kasey received her Doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from James Madison University. She also has a master's degree in Community Counseling from a CACREP accredited Counseling Psychology program at James Madison University and bachelor's degree in Psychology and African American Studies from the University of Virginia. Dr. Kasey completed her internship and residency at Vanderbilt University and also completed a secondary rotation at the Department of Veteran Affairs. She also has specialized training in PTSD, Anxiety, Yoga, and Couples therapy. Dr. Kasey also provides career-related consultation and coaching services, and she has a passion for empowering professionals on their journey in career advancement, leadership, and effective communication. Redirection Counseling Services offer virtual appointments through a secure and HIPAA compliant platform that makes therapy more accessible from your home, office, or while traveling.   The fee is $225 per 60-minute appointment. Dr. Kasey does not accept insurance. Please note: Dr. Kasey does not prescribe medication. What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a clinician, Dr. Kasey views the therapy process as a collaborative experience, in which the client and therapist work together on the client's goals and presenting concerns. Dr. Kasey approaches therapy from a comprehensive framework and strives to understand the whole person through thorough assessment of psychological and physiological factors such as sleep, nutrition, medical history, and more. Dr. Kasey also utilizes measurement-based tools (e.g. PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5) to track progress in treatment. Dr. Kasey works with her clients to co-create a treatment plan that is both objective and tailored to the individual client's needs. She also employs her extensive clinical training in evidence-based approaches to help clients work towards change. It is noteworthy to mention that Dr. Kasey is a human first, who integrates a no-nonsense yet affirming approach in her care. Dr. Kasey challenges her clients to both reflect and take accountability in their growth and change, while simultaneously holding space for the client's multifaceted experiences, culture, and struggles.     My fee for services is $250 for the initial session then, $225 for individual appointments and $250 for Couples appointments. I do not accept any insurance at the current time; however, I can accept most major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards or provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement purposes.
