“I received a request from zocdoc for a review. I’ve been going to DuPage Internal Medicine for two years, Had I received a request back when I started going I would’ve said: the entire staff (at least with whom I have interacted) is friendly. Both Dr. Prabhu and Dr. Shivalingappa are extremely knowledgeable, competent, and caring. “Like” - they actually care. My adult son is also a patient there. Whenever Dr. Shivingappa sees me he always asks how my son is doing. I have seen Candace, Erika, & Jennifer the nurse practitioners All of them are fantastic. I know this all sounds surreal, a medical group that are smart, caring, and compassionate. Wow - right?!
This visit was with Jennifer, APN. She truly listened to my concerns. Even looked into something from my last visit (I had forgotten). She suggested some testing and sent off the script. I got a call from the testing center the next day to schedule an appointment! If you’re looking for great care - fast - look no further!”

This was the first time I went to this doctor and everything was great.
The front desk staff were very nice and efficient. The nurse that came to take my vitals was also very kind and helpful.
Doctor Kern answered all my questions thoroughly and helped me understand all procedures I was going through. I would highly recommend. 10/10 all around for this doctor and place.

I received a few reminders of my appointment beforehand. The staff was thorough and answered all my questions. Though the office was dated, it was pleasant. The medical student that took my vitals and completed the paperwork was very personable and thorough. Dr. Kern took time to listen and answered all my questions. She did a thorough exam and was very professional. I will definitely go there again. The best thing is that I can get both my womans health needs and general health needs taken care of by Dr. Kern.

Jenn, listened to my needs and ordered a CAT scan to be done. Since I have been dealing with this illness for over a month, I wish she would have requested an urgent on that. It can take up to 10 days to get the scan approved. I called back to request urgent… hopefully she will understand my discomfort and change it.
Otherwise a good appointment.
