Psychologist
NY
My view on therapy is that it should be a collaborative and holistic process, working toward your goals so that you can live your fullest life. Therapy is a non-judgmental, accepting, safe space to discuss challenges you are facing and work on making changes. I work within two primary modalities, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also utilize aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure Therapy. I am also experienced with CBT for Psychosis (CBTp). I primarily work with folks experiencing anxiety/phobias, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Psychosis. That said, I am open to working with everyone! I obtained my Ph.D. from Hofstra University in New York and did my Postdoctoral Fellowship as a Harvard Fellow in Boston, MA. I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist since 2014. I have worked primarily in hospital outpatient psychiatry clinics both as a therapist and a leader, though I have worked on psychiatric inpatient units as well. Mainly, I have worked with adults but also have experience working with individuals in their late teens. My goal is to provide you with tools and support to reach your goals through collaboration and feedback. Feel free to contact me so we can find out if we're a good fit.
