About Dr. Jennifer Stone

Dr. Jennifer L. Stone earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University, graduating With Honors. She received her Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry and graduated with distinction including numerous awards for her clinical and academic performance. Dr. Stone completed her residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she trained with faculty from the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in several sub-specialties: glaucoma, retina, and corneal health. Dr. Stone has cultivated a keen interest in research studies and published on topics from exploring novel medication delivery systems, isolating a genetic link for glaucoma and educating patients and eye care providers about eye drop compliance and adherence. Dr. Stone has also traveled to Madurai, India to lecture, teach and assist in developing a new optometry curriculum for the Aravind Eye Hospitals, the largest self-sufficient eye care system in the world. Dr. Stone cares for patients with all types of eye conditions her primary focus is glaucoma. Prior to joining Levin Eyecare in 2011, Dr. Stone practiced privately in a dedicated glaucoma practice and work in affiliation with the Ophthalmology Department at Mercy Hospital. Dr. Stone has been in practice for nearly 20 years diagnosing and treating all forms of eye disease.
