What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their mental health concerns through a collaborative and personalized approach. Care is grounded in evidence-based practices for medication management and for the integration of therapy. Treatment begins with a careful understanding of current symptoms and concerns, often involving both the individual and their families when appropriate. Psychoeducation is an essential part of the process, allowing clients to make informed decisions about their treatment options and care. I am committed to empowering clients by fostering trust, clarity, and confidence in the treatment journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Willow Health provides short term virtual crisis care for individuals in mental health crises. Our team of psychiatrists, therapists, nurse practitioners, and certified peers create personalized care plans, offering 24/7 crisis support during your time in our program. Our services are short term in nature, lasting between 8-12 weeks depending on your needs. This means that at the end of your time with us, we’ll make sure you’re connected to ongoing care and support to continue your recovery outside of Willow Health. Part of our services include an 8 week, virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for those who qualify. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in exploring this option. Getting started is simple. You can schedule an initial assessment as soon as today virtually, from the comfort of your home. Your first meeting will last about 90 minutes. You’ll talk with a me and a psychiatrist or psychiatric NP who will help design a treatment plan that works for you. Depending on your needs, your care may include medication management, therapy (including specialized support for thoughts of self harm) and care management. Additionally you’ll have the option to participate in recovery coaching, which includes working with a peer recovery coach, someone who has lived experience with mental health and/or substance use, and who will support you through your recovery journey. Our office is open Monday - Friday from 11a-7p ET with access to an after hours nursing triage line. If this is a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
