About Dr. Jeromica Ward
Undergraduate Education: Washington University in St. Louis; Degree: Bachelor of Arts and Sciences. Optometry School: Southern College of Optometry, 2019. Professional Achievements and Associations: National Optometric Association. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Completion of Ocular Disease residency at VA Hospital in Memphis, TN. The reason I became an optometrist is: I've always wanted to be a doctor to help people. I feel optometry makes a big impact on people's lives by helping them see the best they can to do their daily activities. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Knowing I can help someone function the best they can by improving their eyesight. In my spare time, I enjoy: Reading, painting, drawing, sightseeing, trying new foods, playing video games.

Best eye doctor experience I have ever had. Dr. Ward explained everything to me so perfectly! I've never had an eye doctor actually take the time to explain everything they're doing and why and as someone who gets anxious going to the doctor I really appreciated that attention to detail. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, as well as helpful with figuring out exactly what my insurance would cover so there were no surprises at the end. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. Highly recommended this location!

Dr. Ward was great. I have been wearing glasses for decades now, and I have never had a doctor explain different eye conditions to me as clearly as she did. I will be back for my next eye exam.

Amazing doctor — extremely friendly and took the time to have an in-depth conversation about my vision problems and ways to manage them through prescription. They also recommended a glaucoma screening since it runs in my family. I plan to continue seeing them as my primary eye doctor for the foreseeable future.
