About Dr. Jesse Cole
Dr. Jesse Cole is a board-certified family physician and HIV medicine specialist. He is passionate about
providing compassionate, evidence-based, comprehensive care, with particular attention to LGBTQ+
patients and patients living with HIV. He values getting to know patients, making them feel heard,
and helping them navigate the health care system.
He specializes in HIV/AIDS care, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), primary and preventative health care, and LGBTQ+ care including transgender medicine and gender affirming hormone therapy.
He earned his medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at SUNY
at Buffalo, then completed residency at the Institute for Family Health and Mount Sinai Hospital in
New York City, where he was a member of the HIV training track. He joined Northwell Health in 2024
to continue providing LGTBQ+-specialized services in a community health setting. He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

I had a great first meeting with Dr. Cole. The team made me feel comfortable, cared for, and seen. The visit was thorough without being overwhelming. Booking through Zocdoc made the whole process smoother, too, and the office seemed to appreciate having all the paperwork in order prior to the appointment. The whole team was excellent, and Dr. Cole was a dream!

A wonderful office with a very friendly staff. I was seen immediately. I felt very safe as a queer person. The nurses were so kind and made the 5 shots I needed painless. Dr. Cole is a delight. He listened and answered all my questions. He also gave me great referrals. I left feeling like family and with all the vaccines and prescriptions I needed. Highly recommend!
