About Dr. Jessica Chow
A true New Jersey native, Dr. Jessica Chow received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s School of Osteopathic Medicine (now, part of Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine). She went on to complete her residency at UMDNJ-RWJMS at CentraState Medical Center, in Freehold, New Jersey, with a focus on family medicine.
Dr. Chow is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and has certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is also approved by the Department of Transportation to provide testing for those seeking to apply for their Commercial Driver’s License.
After her residency, she was hired as a family physician at Angela Family Care, in Clifton, New Jersey, where she worked with patients both young and old. Dr. Chow went on to work as a locums physician in various states and has gained a lot of experience working in all different types of family physician offices. She has managed a wide range of medical problems for her patients, such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, pneumonia and gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Chow believes in providing the best care she can for patients and is compassionate to their needs.

Be ready to wait over an hour to see this physician. Ridiculous is an understatement. The staff is kind but they are so dismissive and lack professionalism. Dr. Chow is great, but it’s just difficult to like a doctor when you have to take over an hour off from your day to get a physical. Just another example of a doctor trying to squeeze in as many patients in their schedule and not being cognizant of their patients’ time. Waiting in a waiting for 45 minutes (especially during Covid is highly unprofessional).

The short wait was expected. During a media induced hysteria on an outbreak makes it harder on all medical professionals. Even with that I was seen in just ten minutes, and it was still before the time I was scheduled for.
The nurse was nice and personable, and great to talk to while she took my numbers. The doctor was very polite and straight forward. She helped me find specialists for my diabetic needs, and setup an appointment for baseline tests the very next day.

Had a great 1st visit with Dr. Chow have another appointment next week for physical and go over blood work that I had done today. Love that they do the bloodwork right there and the girl who does it is great did not feel a thing .

Dr. Chow was great, I am really happy with her. I wasn't so happy that the forms I filled out on ZocDoc weren't used so I had to give the info all over again. They did it in the exam room rather than me filling out paper or an iPad, so it took another half hour before I actually saw the doctor. I am happy with her and I will go back.

Dr. Chow is so easy to talk to. She asks questions and gives you plenty of time to asks questions. Always listens to your concerns and keeps a conversational tone. The office staff are very nice and helpful, as well. A doctor’s office I feel very comfortable going to!

Dr. Chow is extremely pleasant and nice, and she offered great advice. Even though I went for a regular check up....I found it weird that she charged me a co-pay when this check up is considered preventative. She explained that the co-pay allows her to review lab results with me (since that's a separate appointment), submit any paperwork and tests that need to be ordered. I already pay a lot of money for insurance so I would expect that all of this would be covered. Anyway, she was pleasant and very informative which made it worth it.

She took her time getting to know me, and was thorough in her questions about medical history (this was my first visit as a new patient), and helpful in addressing the issue that brought me into the office. She didn't rush at all, and I was really pleased by the amount of time she spent with me. She also is extremely personable, I can't recommend her highly enough!
