“Lovely office and helpful staff. Dr. Islam gave thorough explanations to all of my questions and concerns and I left with a much deeper understanding of what my options are (glasses, contacts, lasik, etc.) She also recommended some supplements for me to start taking now to prevent eye health issues in the future, since I have a family history of eye diseases. Great experience and everyone was so helpful :) can’t recommend enough! ”

About Dr. Jessica Islam

From the time she was a child, Dr. Jessica Islam had always wanted to pursue a career in the medical field where she could use her talents to help people. Inspired by her father, a neuroradiologist, Dr. Islam followed her passion to become an eye doctor with a specialized focus on treating ocular disease. Dr. Islam received her Doctorate of Optometry from MCPHS University, where she graduated with honors. She then completed an Ocular Disease and Low Vision residency at Jesse Brown VA Hospital in 2021. Dr. Islam is proud to be a part of the American Academy of Optometry as well as the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. Aside from treating patients in her clinic, Dr. Islam is passionate about culinary arts, traveling, learning Spanish and spending time with her husband, newborn daughter and 3 furbabies.
