About Dr. Jessica Plager
Dr. Jessica Plager joins Allergy Experts after completing her Internal Medicine residency at
Massachusetts General Hospital and her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. At Vanderbilt, she trained in both adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology, and at Allergy Experts, she is excited to treat patients of all ages.
Originally from Berkshire County in Massachusetts, Dr. Plager completed her undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University where she graduated second in her class. After working for two years in public schools, she earned her medical degree at University of Massachusetts, where she graduated Alpha Omega Alpha and won the Department of Medicine award for Outstanding Performance.
Dr. Plager has contributed several first-author publications within the field of Allergy and Immunology, and has co-written a textbook chapter on drug allergy. She is passionate about medical education for both patients and providers alike, and in 2022-2023 completed the Harvard Macy Program for Health Educators. She is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy and Immunology and has presented at various national conferences.
When Dr. Plager is not at Allergy Experts, she enjoys hiking, running, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Just the most pleasant office experience. The staff were helpful and prompt. The doctor was fantastic. Thorough, kind, curious and also warm and engaging with my two toddlers, who I had to bring along with me. Put in an rx promptly and there was a clear follow-up plan in place.

Dr Plager was wonderful! I came in with a question about some old medication allergies that I wasn’t sure how easily they’d be able to help me with, and she quickly answered all my questions clearly and I left with clear answers! I am so grateful I decided to give her a chance!

I met with Dr. Elizabeth Yakaboski, she listened attentively and quickly identified the symptoms I suffer with. Then she immediately put together a plan for relief and long-term care. I was very impressed with her knowledge and care.
