What should a new client know about working with you?

Perhaps you're concerned about your child or adolescent due to emotional or behavioral issues. Or you may be in need of an evaluation for diagnostic purposes or service acquisition. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer the assistance you need to help you and your family.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

-Diagnostic evaluations provided for children and adults for ASDs using standardized assessment instruments including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - Second Edition (ADOS-2) as well as other supplementary measures as needed. -Provision of the full "Autism Specialty Report" needed for OPWDD including the ADOS-2, ADI-R, and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. This evaluation can also include updated IQ testing, as well as a psychosocial report when needed. -Psychoeducational and diagnostic evaluations provided including IQ testing, academic achievement assessment, and measures of behavior/social/emotional functioning. -Individual and family psychotherapy provided with an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for: ASD Anxiety Depression Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ADHD/Learning Disabilities Oppositional Defiant Disorder -School consultations provided for the purposes of assisting in working with students with ASD, and/or severe emotional and behavioral disorders. -Functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans with the goal of resolving problematic behavior and improving academic/social/emotional functioning.
