About Dr. Jian (Jim) Nan Ye
To our dear patients, our office staff will verify if you have met your yearly insurance deductible or copay, but you also need to call your insurance company yourself to confirm your deductible, copay, and what your insurance covers. For patients who have NOT met their deductible yet, we DO require a DEPOSIT for the appointment. At this time, our billing cycle is about 3 months, so please be patient for the refund.
A skilled dermatologist, Dr. Jian (Jim) Ye earned his medical degree from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University. He completed two residencies: one in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia and another in dermatology at the Hospital of Traditional Medicine in Yunnan. Additionally, Dr. Ye completed a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Southern California and a research oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Ye is excited to bring his knowledge to the Beverly Hills Elite Laser & Dermatology Center. Patients see him for a host of reasons, including acne, hair loss, warts, nail problems, laser skin treatments, psoriasis, skin cancer, and skin cosmetic enhancement. His philosophy for skin care is simple: it should be easy, intelligent, and safe, helping you feel great not only on the outside but on the inside as well.
Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Board of Laser Surgery, Dr. Ye is a zealous researcher with authorial credits in numerous esteemed publications. He is the first research scientist to discover the O-acetyl-GD3 ganglioside molecule and to develop a chemotherapy regimen to treat resistant malignant skin cancer in Extramammary Paget's Disease. Dr. Ye believes that looking good and feeling good go hand-in-hand.

Slimy people. Never go here. They charged me way too much to freeze warts at time of service and weren’t going to submit the claim to insurance, saying I hadn’t met my deductible so “I owe the full amount.” They submitted the claim to insurance only after I asked them to and insurance determined I only owed a very small amount. The clinic then refused to reimburse me the large amount I paid previously. I’m still in calls with them back and forth weeks later and they’re making up fees like a “ZocDoc charge” and a “billing charge” despite a very clear cut case.

I’m new to Los Angeles and so glad I found dr Ye via zocdoc. Doctor Ye was very responsive, asking me to send a photo of a cyst to his assistant the night I booked the appointment. The next morning, he asked me to come and told me the procedure was going to take 15-20 mins and was able to treat me for a cyst that was bothering me for a month.

Dr. Ye is a knowledgeable and caring dermatologist. I have been to other dermatologists who want you to book several appointments to treat the same thing (a waste of time and money) while Dr. Ye treats in one efficient visit. I was a little skeptical to try a new Doctor for getting Botox done but after this visit I would have to say that Dr Ye has the best hands In the business. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor.
1. They over-charged me because they "didn't trust my insurance"??? It's United Healthcare.
2. The doctor laughed at me when he removed a mole from my stomach for wincing in pain. Have you ever done this before? Of course it hurts. You stuck a needle in my body.
3. They would not call me to give me my lab results. They also would not return my voicemails.
