About Dr. Jihan Grant

She is board certified in neurology and headache medicine and dually fellowship trained in Headache Medicine and interventional pain. Dr. Grant completed her medical degree at Howard University and completed her residency in neurology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She pursued fellowships in Pain Management at the University of California, Irvine, and in Headache Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She has a special interest in migraine with aura and cervicogenic headache. Dr. Grant's specific training allows for a variety of treatment modalities in managing headache and facial pain, as well as spinal pain, joint pain, and various pains of different etiologies. She believes strongly in tailoring pain management specifically to her patients' needs. Dr. Grant is involved in the education of resident and fellow physicians across various disciplines at Mount Sinai. She has presented at several national society meetings including HCNE, NANS, and ASRA. She has published articles and authored several book chapters. She also participates in talks for physician colleagues.
