Dr. Joe George is an experienced foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training both in the US and Europe in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction. Dr. George is from Illinois and attended Carmel High School, University of Illinois in Chicago and received his podiatric medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Science at Rosalind Franklin University. He completed residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the Westside Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Chicago and fellowship in foot and ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery in Germany. Left office not knowing how long I should wear the boot, if I need a follow up appointment and no answers about my left foot or follow up on my diabetes which is one of the reasons I made the appointment as well. Other than that the PA and Doctor were extremely nice and seemed concerned with symptoms I am having but I think Doctor was to booked and was maybe behind on appts. I know now not to schedule an appt when he is just coming back from a vacation.. : )

His PA was very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve looked for a podiatrist because I’ve always had foot problems. I explained to him that I’ve had plantar fasciitis and he recommended orthotics even after I told him I’ve tried orthotics twice. He dismissed my concerns and just told that’s all he can basically do for me, so I won’t be returning.

Excellent podiatrist. Had ingrown toenail removed, bypassed freezing it, and there was no pain. OK, it hurt a little, but he was finished in less than a minute and the needle would've probably been more painful. Highly recommend!

It was awesome to be able to see the doctor on such short notice. My problem like many is very unique. I am currently very ill and need to preserve my strenght. Since this was my first visit I had to tolerate the waiting time. I suggest as an option any paper work that can be completed in advace of the visit should be this may assit with cutting down the wait time. Also, it has been suggested that I alert the staff to my very fragile state so when I cime in the office my wait time may be cut down. It may help if I schedule my appoutments to be the first patient of the day or the first patient after the lunch break.
Dr George Is awesome and while I had sone apprehension he really did his best to make me feel his concern for my anxiousness.

I was satisfied with the my visit with Dr. George. However, from the receptionist, the xray technician, the ultrasound technician, and the woman that reviewed "foot exercises" with me..not one of the 4 of them told me their name, said "welcome to our practice" or even a "good morning"...I was very unimpressed with the staff and the extreme unprofessionalism...one was biting her nails as she spoke to me, and the others barely cracked a smile. I work for an Optometrist and our friendly staff alone is reason to return, not to mention the outstanding optometric health you receive. I'm hoping that by my next visit to Dr. George there will be a change in attitude and atmosphere among his staff.
