Dr. Brooks began his academic career at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, where he served as a staff allergist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He also served as Site Director for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Allergy and Immunology Fellowship. He later joined Columbia University, where he practiced as an attending allergist at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital within the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. During this time, he served as Associate Program Director of the Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Training Program and as Director of Education for the division. In clinical practice, Dr. Brooks specializes in the management of food allergies, drug allergies, angioedema, and asthma.
