About Dr. John Berry

John Berry, MD, FACC, RPVI, DABVLM, and his wife Trish have enjoyed living in the Tri-Cities for over 15 years. Dr. Berry earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida, Gainesville, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine. During his career in cardiovascular medicine, he discovered a passion for venous medicine, cultivated over many years of practice at the Johnson City Vein Care Center. Before its closing, The Vein Care Center was the leading vein care practice in the Tri-Cities for over eight years. Dr. Berry witnessed the great relief his patients experienced when freed from painful varicosities, venous ulcers, and the stigma of spider veins. With a deep passion for his patients and a relentless pursuit of excellence, he made the treatment of vein disease his full-time career and founded Living Water Vein Institute. The name came after a time of prayer with his wife, asking the Lord for a name that would honor Him. The verse from John 7:38 was given to him: “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” Dr. Berry and Trish enjoy hiking, fishing, Biblical studies, and traveling.
