About Dr. John Kruszewski
John Kruszewski, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry cum laude from The Ohio State University in 1986 and completed his undergraduate studies at John Carroll University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and is also a past president of the Toledo Area Optometric Society. Dr. Kruszewski is a volunteer and active member of the Sylvania Sunrise Lions Club, where he has served as club president.
Dr. Kruszewski began his career as a naval officer, serving as Staff Optometrist and Contact Lens Clinic Coordinator at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. As a young man, he learned about the importance of good vision and its impact on learning and overall quality of life. He particularly enjoys communicating with and educating his patients about their specific eye conditions and creating individualized plans to improve their vision and general eye health.
