John Sfakianos is a caring and experienced urologist serving the communities of New York and Astoria, NY. Dr. Sfakianos attended medical school at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. He completed his residency in urology and internship in general surgery at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He finished a fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the City University of New York. Dr. Sfakianos is a member of the American Urological Association. Because he is bilingual in English and Greek, patients from a variety of backgrounds enjoy having him as their physician. Dr. Sfakianos is devoted to ensuring the longevity of his patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. He takes his time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all his patients.
