You're met by warm, friendly people like Dr. Brody-Sendroff, who make it their mission to get to know their patients better. That's the atmosphere that's been created at Bergen Optometry, and Dr. Brody-Sendroff is a big reason for it!
Dr. Brody-Sendroff has been practicing optometry for nearly 20 years, using the latest technologies and cutting-edge diagnostic tools to help her patients see better. By prescribing glasses and contact lenses and diagnosing common diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, she's able to help change and even save the lives of her patients. She is particularly fond of treating dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, among several other ocular conditions.
At Bergen Optometry, we look at your overall wellness and how it affects the health of your eyes and vision. Our interactive approach uses the latest innovative technologies such as Retinal Photography, which enables you to see the health of your eyes for yourself while we discuss any important findings with you. You will leave your appointment not only more enlightened about your health but also more focused on how to maintain your best wellness and how it pertains to preserving your precious eyesight.
Dr. Brody-Sendroff earned her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and holds a Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College. She takes pride in giving back to the optometric community and teaching the next generation of optometrists, which is why she serves as an adjunct professor with the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and the New England College of Optometry. Through this role, she hosts students during their education career at her practice.

This office doesn’t get updates from Zocdoc as of right now. I booked an appointment through Zocdoc and was told they don’t have any record for it . They were nice to squeeze me in for a later appointment but I had to wait a lot to be seen. I wouldn’t recommend booking through zocdoc

I love this office!!! This was my 1st time seeing this doctor. Dr. Joie Brady-Sendroff is professional, kind, and very informal. I have never felt so welcomed. Automatically, I felt like I was important. All the receptionists were awesome and respectful. Edna, Maldonado, who also assisted me with my prescription, was very helpful and kind. She helped me pick out my frames for my glasses. I felt like I had been going there for years, and I was family!!! I highly recommend this doctor and office!

This was my first visit at this clinic and I was pleasantly surprised. I only waited for a few minutes to be seen. The staff was friendly and the bedside manner excellent. The doctor listened to my issues and took her time to answer my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. I will definitely bring my other family members here.

The optical diagnostic equipment was very modern and Dr. Brody-Senhoff was professional and efficient in conducting my eye exam. The only reason I gave them a lower rating was that they tried to push some kind of blood antioxidant test on me promoted by a Florida company that sells non-FDA-approved antioxidant supplements. Subsequent research in medical journals and NIH publications suggested that this diagnostic test is questionably accurate and that the supplements offered by this company are of nonexistent medical value. It was somewhat off-putting that a practice which otherwise seemed professional and above-board would risk undermining their credibility with tests and supplements of dubious medical value.

I've been a patient of Dr Joie Brody-Sendroff for years and highly recommend her and her practice. They treat you like family and make sure you fully understand your examination and what eyeglass/sunglasses and contacts are available.
