Jonathan Bielfield, DO, FAOCD is a board-certified dermatologist experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He takes pride in providing personalized care for patients supported by the most up to date evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Bielfield completed his dermatology residency through Rocky Vista University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A significant portion of his residency was spent training at the University of Colorado. Prior to getting into the field of dermatology, Dr. Bielfield was an orthopedic surgeon which gives him a unique skill set and confidence with surgical procedures.
Dr. Bielfield enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work. His hobbies include tennis, working out, and learning to play electric guitar.

Knowledgeable doctor, nice office but not sure why they make their patients work with their insurances for getting clearance for procedures. From a place like this I would expect seamless process so patients don’t need to get sucked into admin / paperwork.

I’m old. Not in mind or ego but the systems are worn. 5 grandsons, none consider me old, so I’ve got their youth with me. Dr. B seems to remember me, maybe he studied theatre too? His concern seems genuine. He listens. We converse. There’s so much more than just me and my skin. The whole of me is validated. His assurances comfort me. We agree there’s so much to do in the world. Onward!

Dr. Bielfield inspired, with his quiet confidence and professionalism, a calm and confidence in me, that I’d come to the right provider, even though I drove a half hour from my home, to be seen. This was my “yearly” for a thorough examination of the skin to look for possible abnormalities. I have fair and freckled skin, with a history of skin cancer in the family. I asked about several worrisome spots, and he patiently examined, and listened to questions and concerns. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the wait was not long. (I didn’t even have time to look at the books on the shelf! :) The location is pleasant as well. Highly recommend.
