Operations Director, Rhode Island Dr. Jonathan Gershon is a clinical psychologist who has been practicing for over twenty years. He obtained his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He completed his internship at the Boston Consortium in child psychology and behavioral medicine. His postdoctoral fellowship was at the Brown University Training Consortium and Bradley Hospital. Dr. Gershon received his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. Prior to joining LifeStance Health, Dr. Gershon was a founding partner and psychologist at Gershon Psychological Associates for over fifteen years. He serves on the Rhode Island Board of Psychology. Dr. Gershon is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University. He currently teaches first year medical student and serves as an advisor as well at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Gershon was also a past president of the Rhode Island Psychological Association. Previously, he has been a staff psychologist at Bradley Hospital. Dr. Gershon has published research articles on virtual reality treatment, gender differences in ADHD, and has presented at national conferences. His current interests include cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders, child and family therapy, and ADHD. In his spare time, Dr. Gershon enjoys spending time with his family, watching soccer, and bicycling. (RI License: #833 & MA License: #8249)
