Prior to fellowship, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, where his musculoskeletal interests were strengthened as part of the Osteopathic Recognition track. During his fellowship, Dr. Vamadeva cared for athletes at every level of competition, from youth and high school sports to collegiate and professional organizations. His collegiate experience ranged across multiple divisions, from various sports at St. Elizabeth’s University and Caldwell University to covering Seton Hall University men’s basketball. Furthermore, he provided coverage to the Somerset Patriots (Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees). With an interest in fight medicine, Dr. Vamadeva also covered mixed martial arts events with Cage Fury Fighting Championships. Finally, he provided regular coverage to the New Yorks Jets at the NFL level, while also participating in the medical evaluation process at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN.
