Neuropsychological/Psychological Assessments Dr. Kennon provides comprehensive evaluations for: * ADHD * Autism spectrum disorder * Dementia and cognitive decline * Traumatic brain injury and concussion * Memory and other cognitive concerns Therapy Dr. Kennon provides individualized, evidence-based therapy, including: * Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) * Exposure therapy for anxiety, phobias, and related concerns * Psychological support for individuals adjusting to brain injury, neurological conditions, or other medical concerns Dr. Kennon received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and completed her internship through the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Birmingham VA Medical Center, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Spain Rehabilitation Center. Her clinical experience includes leading academic medical centers, including the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where she focused primarily on inpatient neurorehabilitation following traumatic brain injury and stroke. Her approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each patient’s individual goals and needs. Outside of work, Dr. Kennon is a former Division I collegiate golfer who enjoys traveling, playing Mahjong, and spending time with her dog, Bear.
