About Dr. Jorge Matuk
Dr. Matuk is Board qualified in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
He graduated as an M.D. from Cartagena University, School of Medicine in Colombia, S.A., and received his Orthopedic Degree in São Paulo, Brazil. In the U.S., he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree from Barry University School of Podiatry in Miami, FL. He completed his residency in Podiatric Surgery through the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Kingwood Medical Center in Houston, TX, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Matuk has a strong educational background and is ready to offer a full range of cutting-edge technology for various treatments.
Dr. Matuk's interests include, but are not limited to, sports medicine, arthroscopy, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, flat foot treatments, diabetic foot care, and wound care treatments.
He is currently on staff at Memorial Hermann Memorial City, Christus St. Catherine, Methodist Willowbrook, Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center, Kingwood Medical Center, West Houston Medical Center, First Street, Memorial Hermann Memorial Village Surgery Center, and Oprex Surgery Center.

He has an amazing bed side manner. I have had steroid injections For plantar fasciitis before that required a block and left me limping for hours. He has such an amazing technique of injecting that He doesn’t need to perform a block. I walk out happy, in less pain, and without limping. I will come back to him every time.

Dr. Matuk - He’s a great guy and very easy to talk to. He makes you feel at ease and walks you through the procedure. He checked consistently to make sure I was doing ok, or if I needed him to slow down or give me a break. Dr. Matuk’s bedside manners are absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He also has a humorous side which made everything ten times better! He took great care of me! I will definitely be going back if I ever have any podiatry issues again. Thanks Dr. Matuk!!
