“I can’t thank Dr. Joseph Latham, PsyD, enough. He helped me uncover and address the root causes of my eating disorder, which began when I was just 12 years old. Understanding those core issues made my path to recovery so much clearer. I’m now 29 and proud to say I haven’t engaged in any harmful behaviors for the past two years. No other therapist was ever able to guide me the way he did.”

I think that there is different therapist for different people. I personally have experienced a plethora of therapist and I just felt we did not click the way a therapist and client should. He was very focused on using clinical terminology and it made it feel extremely impersonal. Like I was a case or illness rather than a human in need of support. I have had all types of therapist so I understand at times it takes more than one appointment to really understand your therapist style and how they provide care. So with that said I feel my review isn’t all too accurate or fair. I’m just going based off first impression. The only other thing that made me decide I will not be revisiting this therapist is that we agreed to a second appointment which he did not book and he said he was going to send me some more forms to fill out and that also never happened. Therefore I feel a bit forgotten and like he also knew it wasn’t a great match client therapist wise.

I am thrilled to share our exceptional experience with Dr. Latham and his staff , who has truly made a remarkable impact on my son’s health and development. From our very first appointment, it was evident that this doctor genuinely cares about his patients. His warm demeanor and attentive listening made my son feel comfortable and understood, which is crucial for any child during medical visits. What particularly stands out is the doctor's commitment to comprehensive care. They took the time to not only address my son's medical needs but also to collaborate closely with us on his Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The effectiveness of this IEP has been transformative for my son. Both doctors provided invaluable insights and recommendations that allowed us to tailor the plan to suit his unique strengths and challenges. Thanks to their guidance, my son has made significant progress in both his academic and social skills. Thank you for making such a positive difference in our lives!
Outstanding service and felt at ease speaking with Dr Latham. I had 3 therapists throughout my 20 year career in the Corps and he is by far the best. Highly recommend to all service members and especially infantrymen to seek service with Seahorse Psychology Center with Dr Latham.
