About Dr. Joseph Sedrak
Dr. Joseph Sedrak graduated first in his medical school class at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine with a 4.0 GPA, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree. He received many honors and awards, including membership in the elite Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. He pursued a rigorous internship in General Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), followed by dermatology residency training at Loma Linda University. He successfully completed his residency and became board certified in dermatology.
He subsequently completed a combined Cosmetic and Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship. After performing thousands of cosmetic and skin procedures during his training, he became an expert in all manner of skin treatments, including Botox, fillers, peels, liposuction, laser surgery, and more. He even authored a chapter in a cosmetic dermatology textbook.
Dr. Sedrak grew up in Southern California and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, along with a simultaneous degree in Philosophy, from the University of California. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he earned an academic scholarship to attend medical school at the University of South Alabama.
In medical school, he was the only student to achieve a 4.0 GPA and was ranked #1 among his peers. This academic excellence allowed him to excel in his internship, residency, and fellowship. His crowning achievement was completing a Procedural Dermatology Fellowship under the mentorship of the world-renowned dermatologist Abel Torres, MD, JD, founder of one of the dermatologic surgery programs at Harvard and former chief of Dermatology. During Dr. Sedrak's training, he performed thousands of surgeries with expert guidance.

Dr. Sedrak was very knowledgable. Good bed side manner. Office staff was not very pleasant. Otherwise was a nice visit.
