About Dr. Joshua Hardison
Dr. Hardison was born in Athens, Georgia, and grew up in Cherryville, North Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University. He joined Chapel Hill Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006 and within two years was already tapped to be the board representative to the Women's Health Alliance Board of Directors because of his colleagues' confidence in his decision-making, management, and analytical skills. He is admired for being a quintessential problem solver.
Our patients view Dr. Hardison as a patient educator. He is routinely complimented by residents and patients alike for his ability to take complex medical issues and break them down for any level of aptitude. In other words, no matter what level of medical education you have, Dr. Hardison can guide you to an appropriate and sound decision about your care, and there will be nothing that appears mysterious or threatening.
