About Dr. Juana Cuevas
Juana L. Cuevas, MD, FACOG, has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in New York City since 2007. Throughout her career, Dr. Cuevas has demonstrated a commitment to women in her community, returning to her native Bronx to provide health care and health education. She is known to go above and beyond for her patients who often regard her as a member of the family, a daughter or sister. Among her colleagues, she is known for her compassion and patience. She values gynecology as a gateway to women’s health and is guided by a desire to help women feel ownership of their well-being.
Dr. Cuevas received her medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Yeshiva University and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). She serves as a mentor for OB/GYN residents in training.
