Dr. Julia Chowdhury is a warm and caring OB-GYN caring for the Plano, TX community. Dr. Chowdhury obtained her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. She completed her internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners.
Dr. Chowdhury is a part of Center for Women's Healthcare. She is certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Muslim Women Physician Association.
Dr. Chowdhury welcomes patients who speak English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, and Bengali. Her awareness of these different languages makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Patients see her for a variety of reasons including pap smears, menopause consultations, pelvic ultrasound, and frequent urination.
