About Dr. Julia Sheyko
Julia Sheyko is a highly capable and dedicated optometrist based in Brooklyn, NY. In 2009, Dr. Sheyko graduated from Hunter College in New York with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. Three years later, she earned another Bachelor of Science degree in optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Not long after this, in 2013, Dr. Sheyko accomplished her doctoral training in optometry at the same institution. Since then, she has been diligently and effectively practicing optometry in Brooklyn, NY. During her education at Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Sheyko received focused training in a variety of areas, including anterior and posterior segment disease, neurological eye disease, as well as pre- and post-operative care. She also routinely provided comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management services. Since graduating and beginning her career at Vision Palace, Dr. Sheyko’s optometric scope has improved and expanded to include the treatment and management of a variety of dysfunctions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and vision loss. She is also certified in Paragon CRT and offers thorough consultations to ensure accurate diagnoses. Dr. Sheyko is fluent in English and Russian.

There was a mistake concerning my appointment time but once I got there I only had to wait about a half hour. I've had to wait much, much longer at other doctor's offices when stuff like this happens.
