Dr. Julie Kuriakose is a distinguished physician and educator, dual board certified in Allergy and Immunology and Internal Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Kuriakose has expertise in nasal and ocular allergies, sinusitis, asthma, and anaphylaxis. She also has extensive experience evaluating food and medication allergies, cosmetic allergies, skin diseases, insect sting reactions, and latex allergy.
Committed to clinical practice, academic research, and teaching, Dr. Kuriakose is the author of several articles and abstracts published in peer-reviewed journals. She has delivered local and national presentations on allergy, asthma, and immunology. Her research has focused on environmental allergies, asthma, and air pollution. Dr. Kuriakose serves as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Nationally, Dr. Kuriakose is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), and the American Medical Association. She is an executive member of the Women’s Health Committee for the ACAAI. Dr. Kuriakose strives to provide evidence-based, thoughtful, personalized care that best serves her patients.
