About Ka Yan Sarah Ng
Ka Yan is a New York State licensed and nationally board-certified acupuncturist. She graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, NY. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Science. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
Her healer’s path began after a near-death experience that led to a profound spiritual awakening. She believes that true healing occurs when the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being work together in harmony. As a practitioner, Ka Yan is committed to providing compassionate, integrative care. She guides patients in reconnecting with their bodies to restore balance and support overall well-being.
Ka Yan specializes in Pain Management, Mental and Emotional Health, Digestive Issues, Women’s Health, Fertility, Autoimmune Conditions, and Oncology Support. She incorporates a variety of modalities into her treatments, including Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Electroacupuncture, Tui Na Massage, Acupressure, Facial Reflexology, Ear Seed Jewelry, Heated Muscle Scraping, Energy Healing, and Sound Healing with tuning forks and singing bowls. She is also certified in Tong Ren Healing and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping.
Her training includes mentorship with Dr. Tom Tam, a renowned acupuncturist in Massachusetts; completion of the Fundamentals of Oncology Acupuncture course through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; and participation in the Oncology Acupuncture 101: Guideline-Based Foundations and Safety Strategies workshop through the Society for Integrative Oncology.
Outside of her practice, Ka Yan enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, creating art, photography, and traveling to experience different cultures.
