Dr. Kalana Greer, PsyD

Psychologist
CA
As a psychologist with a PsyD from John F. Kennedy University, I have many interests in well-being, psychological phenomena, and clinical treatments. My primary role is to provide psychotherapy to patients experiencing psychological and emotional distress, as well as relationship concerns. I currently practice as an outpatient mental health provider, treating a range of disorders and mental health issues. As an eating disorder specialist, I encourage patients to achieve medical stability and develop healthier relationships with food and self through individual psychotherapy and other healing modalities. For this treatment, patients must have regular care with their primary physician. In addition to clinical work, I engage in public speaking, seminars, and workshops. I also serve as an associate professor to graduate students in clinical psychology at the John F. Kennedy School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University. While I do not offer psychological testing at this time, I am open to other psychological activities, including consultation on clinical, educational, and diversity issues. I enjoy learning about self-empowerment, scientific discoveries, and random events around the world. I have a particular interest in natural medicine, holistic health, and unconventional treatment modalities. My professional reading typically focuses on couples and marital issues, eating disorders, trauma, and cultural psychology, especially indigenous (international) psychology. Thank you for trusting me with your time and your health.
