I wouldn’t waste your time on this Doctor. I had extreme difficulty breathing and a drowning feeling every time I laid down which worsened over the day. I scheduled a cardiologist appointment with Dr Desikan and a pulmonology appointment later (which he was not aware I was going to next) in the day because it was extremely scary and I knew it needed to be taken care of immediately. He couldn’t figure it out in the “maybe” 2 minutes he spent in the room with me and then suggested a psychiatrist for anxiety …I left upset because I’m not stupid and I know when something is not right. I landed at the pulmonologist next who said I was having an extreme asthma attack which I’ve never experienced. I went home better because of the pulmonologist who actually listened to me…Dr Desikan is an awful listener and instead of thinking my lungs should be checked, he deems me anxious. That’s extremely hurtful to patients who are in need and desperate…Shame on you Dr Desikan!

I waited 30 mins with an appointment for the front desk to finally let me know they didn’t have my pre check-in info. Then when i came back with my information it took another 30 mins for them to call me in. It was so disrespectful to the appointment time and an inconvenience to my schedule

Everything about appointment was great. I had already completed paperwork online so they just needed to make copy of insurance and license. Didn’t have to wait long to go back. All the staff was very friendly and doctor asked questions, listened and made me feel at ease that he will help me get answers about my heart.
This was just first visit and would definitely recommend Dr. Desikan.

if you get to the office 2 minutes late, EVEN if you do the paperwork beforehand and they call you before hand to review your insurance, you will still be waiting! office and doctor seem very knowledgeable and organized

While the office was very busy, I was seen not long after my appointment time. The Doctor was very friendly and as a new patient scheduled me for more tests to ensure all was good. Tests on appointment day were quick and painless. I would highly recommend this doctor. He is thorough and displays a genuine concern for the patients well being.

Was glad to be able to get many heart test done during one visit to help ease my mind. Even though I still don’t know why I’m having my symptoms, it was relieving to know I didn’t have any urgent issues going on. Increasing my vitamin and electrolytes to hopefully resolve the symptoms.

Very friendly and professional staff. It did take them 36 minutes to get to me but I understand. Doctor's offices are always busy. Once I got into the "back office" I was quickly attended and the nurses were all professional and polite. I would definitely recommend this doctor and office.
