Dr. Hamid specializes in ankle injuries and brings extensive expertise to his practice. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M University. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Orange County, followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He further refined his skills with a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Hamid has served as a team doctor for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Joffrey Ballet, and Duke University Athletics. He treats a wide array of ankle injuries, including ankle fractures, ankle instability, peroneal nerve injuries and foot drop, Achilles tendon repair, and ankle replacements.
